Heritage Month Lecture

St. Norbert College will welcome renowned historian Paul Freedman, Ph.D., professor of history at Yale University, for its annual Heritage Month lecture. Freedman will present “The Unique Norbertine Foundation in Catalonia: Bellpuig de les Avellanes, 1167-1835,” a talk examining the history and legacy of the Norbertine order in Spain.

The lecture is part of St. Norbert College’s Heritage Month celebration, which highlights the college’s Norbertine heritage throughout October. Heritage Month 2026 also marks the college’s 128th anniversary.

The event will take place at Fort Howard Theater, F. K. Bemis International Center at St. Norbert College and is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged but not required. Attendees may register by calling (920) 403-4034 or emailing mission@snc.edu
